KBI was formed on May 1, 2008 with the purchase of the Sandusky Bearing Operation from Delphi by HHI. The Sandusky facility is a comprehensive engineering and manufacturing site.
HHI was formed in 2005 through the partnership of George Thanopoulos and KPS Capital Partners, LP with the charter of restoring manufacturing in America and the creation of value for all stakeholders.
